Hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, and information about your browser and operating system. This is required to deliver the website securely and efficiently.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in the stable and secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use any analytics or tracking tools. Only one cookie is set, and only when you switch language using the EN/DE button: the cookie “lang” stores your language choice for one year so that the home page appears in that language on your next visit. It contains no personal data and is strictly necessary for this function you have requested (Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). For this reason, no cookie banner is displayed.
On your first visit to the home page, the language setting of your browser determines whether the German or the English version is shown. Your browser sends this setting with every page request; it is not stored.
Fonts, photographs and videos
All fonts, photographs and videos are hosted on the server of this website. No connection to Google or other third-party providers is established when the website is loaded.
Enquiry form
If you contact me via the enquiry form, I process your names, your email address, the type of occasion, the date and location if given, and your message in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a potential booking, and otherwise my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your message is transmitted to my inbox via the email delivery service Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. Resend is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Your data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
My email inbox is provided by Google Workspace, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. If you contact me by email, your message and contact details are stored there in order to process your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
Client galleries and social networks
Client galleries are delivered through Aftershoot. This website links to Instagram. These are simple links, not embedded plugins. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click a link, at which point that provider’s privacy policy applies.
SSL/TLS encryption
The connection to this website is encrypted. You can recognise this by the padlock symbol and “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Any consent given may be withdrawn at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact hello@alexkear.com.
