Not everyone is used to being in front of the camera, even if everyone likes to have nice pictures of themselves. An engagement shoot gives us a chance, in a less pressured environment, to figure out what works, how I will work with you and what helps you relax in front of the camera.

At the same time, the images and the shoot itself already build excitement for the big day.

We're awkward in front of a camera. Is that a problem?

Awkwardness is a mismatch between comfort and expectation. In my experience, most people relax once they realise how easy it can be. "I look great" is a common response.

We're not engaged. Can we still book?

Of course. Any day can be a big day, and I enjoy capturing these moments for you whatever the occasion.
